Once in a while, you might want to return to each site and see if your earnings on that site has increased.

Fully Complete All Requested Information On Your Profile

The best way to qualify for surveys is to have the survey site know as much about you as possible. That means filling out your profile as fully and as honestly as you can.

Some survey sites will ask very detailed questions about your demographics and this is to help match you up with more surveys so that you can increase your average earnings per hour.

Look for Higher Paying Surveys that Require Less Time

Some surveys will pay more money for less time. Always check the estimated time to complete a survey and the payout to determine how much money per minute you’re potentially earning. By default, always select the paid surveys that have the highest earnings per minute.

This will help maximize the amount of money you have the potential of earning as you fill out surveys.

Answer Honestly and Consistently

Survey sites track the answers you give to make sure you’re not rushing and that you are being honest. If you frequently change your answers to the same questions that show up over and over, the site may flag you as being dishonest, which could disqualify you from future surveys.

With that in mind, it’s important to take your time and to answer questions consistently and not simply make up answers in order to go faster or to attempt to game the system.

Can You Really Make Money Filling Out Online Surveys?

Yes, you can really make money filling out online surveys. Some online survey sites pay more per hour than others and you’ll have to determine if filling out surveys is worth your time.

Is Taking Online Surveys Worth The Money?

Filling out online surveys does not generally pay much for the time you’re putting in. With that in mind, they make for an easy way to earn side money in your free time, such as when you’re at home watching TV, sitting on a bus or train, or waiting to be called your turn at somewhere like a doctor’s appointment.

Do You Get Paid Immediately After Each Survey?

Some survey sites will credit you immediately once the survey is filled out and others may have a delay. It seems that most sites we tested pay you as soon as you finish a survey and you’ll be able to cash out once you reach the minimum cash out threshold.

How Much Money Can You Make Taking Surveys Online?

Depending on the survey site, you might expect to make between $2 and $5 per hour. Realistically speaking, you’d be better off finding a part time job or a side hustle to make money as most survey sites will not have enough surveys each day to make more than an hour or two worth of income. That said, if you combine several survey sites, you might be able to make a few to several hundred dollars per month from filling out online surveys.

How Do You Get Paid for Filling Out Online Surveys?

Each survey site has a different way of paying out, though common methods include PayPal, direct bank transfer, and gift cards to both online and brick and mortar retailers.

Why Do Companies Pay You To Take Surveys?

Companies pay people to take surveys because they are conducting market research on various products and services. It’s to help these companies gain insight on what trends are going on, what people are interested in, and what type of things people want to buy. This helps companies determine what to focus on to increase their own sales and to make their brands more recognized.

Wrapping It Up

Earning money from paid online survey sites is a side hustle that takes very little effort and provides money that can be used for little things like bus fare, pizza and other treats, and might pay a small bill each month.

Many survey sites also offer other ways to earn money, such as through cash back from purchases or referring friends, so always check out and monetize any and all offers on each survey site as they relate to you.

If you haven’t already, check out our Swagbucks review and Survey Junkie review as two survey sites to sign up for today.
